What is the WoM-client

When you first enter the server you may be suprised to see people flying and racing all over the place. Maybe you're even envious of these people. How dare they fly when you are bound to the earth!? Well you too can be one of these atomic supermen that leap and fly over the tallest buildings. Just download the WoM-client! WoM, or World of Minecraft, is another Minecraft community. We hate them, they are stupid. We however LOVE their custom client. With this client you can use "hacks" that enable you to run and fly all over the damn place.

Downloading the Client

Now we can hop over to the World of Minecraft, register, login and download the client from the following site.
http://www.worldofminecraft.com/Minecraft_Custom_Client_Wrapper_Download
Since registering just for the client is, in my humble opinion, bullshit you can also use this mediafire link.
http://www.mediafire.com/?2bbapd4dj6krfmb
Which ever way you prefer, be sure to save the file to your desktop.
Note: As I cannot find anything on the Clients distribution policy I do not know whether the finely crafted Mediafire link is actually legal or not. If it is NOT legal, give me a shout and I'll remove it ASAP.
Once the file is downloaded extract it with your favourite archiving tool to a folder. I myself prefer 7Zip, but both Winrar and Winzip should work fine.

Minecraft.jar

Since Minecraft is not included with the client you'll have to download it yourself. This can be done by right-clicking the following link and choosing "save as..."
https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/classic/minecraft.jar
Navigate to the folder where you extracted WoM and save it in the lib folder.
Those with a rather fast computer can also use the following edited minecraft.jar-file. This will remove the clouds and vastly increase your fogdistance. Note that this WILL have a heavy impact on your FPS.

Installation is the same as the regular jar-file.
Installation complete! That wasn't that hard right?

Joining a server

Start WoM by running "run.bat" in the WoM-folder and login with your usual Minecraft account.
Now the Server Selection Screen will popup. In this screen you can select the server on which you want to play by scrolling through the list and double-clicking the server.
You can also bookmark specific servers. To do this you need to click the "Add"-button. A window will pop up where you can enter a name for the bookmark. After doing this and pressing OK another screen will popup. Here you need the enter the actual server address.
SpecialAttack.Net Freebuild
Address: http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=e39f11c6845a035bf823d0e6fdee7955
Whether you want to bookmark Freebuild or not is, of course, your own choice. I heartily recommend doing it. So do it. NAO!

Using hacks

After joining the server you'll be greeted by the usual spawn.
As you've no doubt noticed there is a bar with several options. With these you can do the following:
Switch - Switch to another server. Useless because Freebuild is all you should ever want. =D
Reload - Reconnect to the current server. Usefull when the server crashes or when you want to quickly return to spawn.
Screenshot - Takes a screenshot and saves it to you WoM-folder.
Dump Level - Dumps a level to your WoM-folder so can use it in thirdparty applications. Useless for most players
Enable hacks - You want this to be flagged at all times, since this allows you to fly and zoom around.
Now to the hacks themself.
Flying
Toggle Fly-mode on/off by pressing the Z-button. You can ascend/descend by using the Q and E-buttons.
Running
By holding CTRL you run 2 times as fast as normal. Holding shift however makes you literally a blur by allowing you to run a whopping 5 times faster than normal.
Ghost
By holding the X-buttons you turn on no-clip mode. This allows you to move through blocks like they aren't even there.
Double Jump
Simply press the jump-button (default: space) again while in the air to perform a double jump.

And thats all folks. Now get out there and build stuff!
