Griefing
Griefing is the act of intentionally destroying the world or players builds in an effort to cause grief among them. It is very prevalent on Freebuild, but still poses a problem on SMP. It is the only way that is currently known about to "lose" the game of Minecraft.
Wipe
A wipe is a process in which the world will be wiped clean of buildings to bring it back to a pristine map. This is done frequently on Freebuild.
WoM Client
This is the client side freebuild modifier which grants the player the ability to fly, speed and go through walls on Freebuild. This is highly popular among players, and almost a necessity for administrators and moderators.
Ranks
Players are split by rank in both SMP and Freebuild. These ranks can be read about here and here.
Notch
The slow moving creator of the entire game Minecraft, and the company Mojang Specifications. He has no concept of time, and is rumored to have 8 fingers on one hand.
Cuboid/Eliptoid
These expressions are used as functions in freebuild (with cuboid being available to trustee+ in SMP) which allow a player to place many blocks at once in a desired area, or circle in eliptoid.
Lim
Lim-Dul, the all knowing and all powerful technical administrator of both Minecraft servers.
