Runecraft(SMP)

Runecraft is a SMP server mod developed by the player SuperLlama which has been released publically. The official Minecraft forum thread can be found here. The software works by recognising and activating certain configurations of blocks to gain the desired result as outlined below. The specific runes are divided into two categories; World and Tool. The SpecialAttack SMP server avidly uses this server mod.
Block Tiers
The runes are made out of blocks in a system of 6 tiers. Some world runes and many tool runes have a number of uses per rune. This is dependent on the tier used. With a higher tier, the effect of the rune is greater.

| 3 | Brick, Cactus, Clay, Iron Ore, Redstone Dust, Reeds and Regular Torches. |
| 4 | Adminium, Bookshelf, Gold Ore, Iron Block, Mossy Cobblestone and TNT. |
| 5 | Gold Block, Jukebox and Obsidian. |
