General Information (SMP)
From SpecialAttack World Of Minecraft
Survival is the real version of Minecraft that Notch has been developing. It was what he had in mind from the start. It is the part of the game with both Mining, and Crafting. Many who have pre-purchased the game enjoy the single player version, however the real fun is the the Multiplayer side. Survival Multiplayer (SMP) places you before a infinite world, with an infinite amount of possibilities to share with infinite friends.
SpecialAttack has a still very buggy yet still very playable Survival Multiplayer server.
85.17.102.2 is the IP address to start the fun.

Brief History
SpecialAttack has been running an SMP server since August 2010. At this point the game was a glitchy test-bed server, where all the glitches were found and played with. During this time the players abused countless maps and had many server resets with different mods being tried. Eventually the players settled down and the map that would forever be the SpecialAttack map was found. This was decided when the ZMA mod was put into effect, giving players currency among many other commands.
Cities began to rise, the land became known as Aedificia and regions we defined, players became addicted and different plugins were implemented to give players a more enjoyable game. As the game itself develops, SpA will be two steps ahead giving the players a very valuable multiplayer experience.
Rules
With any form of organised system, there must be rules to follow.
These are the rules of the SpecialAttack SMP server.
- Stick to the rules!
- Don't grief anything.
- TNT and Lava spam is strictly forbidden.
- Item duplication will be punished with a raid. (Duplicated items will be destroyed/donated. Duplication will most likely result in a demotion.)
- Violating the rules will result in a kick. Repeat violation will be punished with a ban.
These are the rules found by using /rules in game. These rules also include information for guests, a direction to our Forum, and the command to gain building allowance.
Ranks
For more information on this subject see Ranks
In Survival multiplayer, the players are divided into ranks dependant on time spent on the server, activity when online and a full understanding of the available commands.
Guest
This rank is awarded upon entry to the server.
Any players in this rank can only walk around with no map editing allowances. It is during this time that a guest is expected to read and learn the rules. The completion of this is indicated using a command found in the rules based commands. After the rules have been accepted, they can then edit the map.
Their colour is white.
Trader
This rank is given to players who have accepted the currency system by gaining a bank account. This class has the same allowances as a guest, however they can gain, earn, pay and check currency.
Their colour is grey.
Member
After a trader has done a sufficient amount of quality building, a player with an administrative rank can promote them to member. With this promotion, players can be given access to more commands and more block types.
Their colour is green.
Operator
These players are the ones with the first lot of administrative powers. To attain this ranks, several super operators must agree that you have learned the commands to a very usable level, understand the workings of the SpecialAttack SMP server and, most importantly, have common sense.
Their colour is aqua.
Super Operator
At the front of every organisation there needs to be a leader. This leader needs trusty subjects to delegate to. This is what the supops are. Tasked with holding together the order of the SMP server through player moderation, command control, rule enforcing and many more, they are the right hand men and women of the all seeing, all powerful Lim-Dul.
Their colour is dark red.
Trustee
Trustee is not in effect yet, however it has been hinted by the owner to be integrated soon. Nothing is known about this rank except a considerably large amount more commands.
Owner
The all seeing, all powerful Lim-Dul.
